Master
Fader Audio Services is the result of several
years of blood, sweat and frustration. The business was founded by Kim Burch,
aka the Master Fader, after returning to Colorado from California where he
studied audio techniques at the Los
Angeles Recording Workshop in North Hollywood.
The love of music and a passion for the pursuit of pure sound quality has
been in his blood since a very young age. He began his musical education playing
in his school band and orchestra as a drummer and percussionist and later
performing professionally as a vocalist, harmonica player and guitarist.
As a freelance audio
engineer, Kim has mixed live sound in California and Colorado. Credits include
national acts such as such as dobro virtuoso, Jerry
Douglas, mistress of guitar, Joanna Connor, lead singer of The Specials,
Neville Staple and folk singer/songwriter, Erika
Luckett, as well as a host of local bands including the enticing Little
Mary, high energy blues singer, Erica
Brown, blues violinist, Lionel Young, and Tab Benoit’s little brother,
Tyrin Benoit.
Credits
for recording projects include The Alan Greenspan Project CD, ‘Forever
Endeavor’, Clawfoot Tubbs CD ‘The Last Warsh’,
and The Mumbles CD ‘Huh?!’.
Master Fader also provides
production and post production service for film and video. Production services
include work with Los Angeles production companies, Lola
McQueen Productions, Fremantle
Media. and local Colorado production Corporate
America Rocks.
Master Fader cares about the quality of work that goes into every audio project.
Whether you need live audio reinforcement, film or video production or post
